In an effort to bring better service to their care model, Swedish Medical Center has developed a unit specifically for the care of their burn patients. This unit utilized experience from other burn facilities in the United States to design the best of what each unit had to offer into an eight bed care unit. The unit includes Hyperbaric treatment rooms as well as Debridement spaces for treating patients within the unit. Special care was paid to the finishes in the unit to minimize the risk of infection for these patients as well.
