In an effort to update the physical and occupational therapy patient floor and prepare it for a future post partum nursing unit, North Suburban Medical Center renovated the south side of the 4th floor of the existing patient tower. This renovation included restoring infrequently used staff areas to patient rooms, adding ADA compliant patient rooms, adding a few new staff support spaces, and updating the finishes on the balance of the floor.
